Music Foundation Programme (MFP)
This 18 months programme is a pre-university course designed
to prepare students for the Bachelor
of Music (Hons) in Professional Music. In
this course, students will be taught the fundamentals
in music, ear training, harmony, scoring and
performance. This course serves as a platform
for students to form their basis of musical
knowledge and skills. In order to better prepare
students to cope with their degree course, the
college offers general education courses such
as English and Mathematics.
Students planning to
do the Bachelors of Music (Hons) In Professional
Music MUST complete the 18 months Music Foundation Programme as a prerequisite.
Intakes for
the Music Foundation Programme are in
January and July.
