Lecturer in Music Performance / Audio Engineering / Music Arranging

You are responsible to the Course Leader(s) for the overall teaching and learning, curriculum development, and coursework assessments for all assigned courses. This position requires some travel domestically and regionally to promote the College’s music programs and activities.

General Duties:

  • Teach 320 hours per semester (including teaching, advising and tutorials)
  • Lesson planning and assessment development
  • Grade students’ works
  • Engage in relevant research or sustained artistic endeavor in composition, production or performance
  • Serve on College’s boards or committees as an academic citizen
  • Engage in student recruitment, efforts each semester

Requirement:

  • Excellent knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office, Sibelius, Logic Audio and/or Pro Tools
  • Excellent communications skills in English
  • Familiar with academic standards and processes (QAA, MQA)

Essential Qualifications and Salary Package

Employment contract is for a minimum period of 2 years. The salary package includes 4 weeks paid annual holidays and medical benefits. Expatriate candidates are eligible for relocation reimbursement and return flight tickets to your country.
